Hallowed Places Wine Collection - Memorial Belltower

Project Goal: Design two variations of wine labels for NC State's Hallowed Places wine collection highlighting the Memorial Belltower.

Process: After researching the Memorial Belltower on NC State's campus, I found that it not only serves as a location to continue traditions and hold countless ceremonies at NC State, but also honors NC State students who were lost fighting in World War I and represents a long history of the NC State community coming together to build something beautiful. Utilizing my research, I designed two sets of labels highlighting the history, legacy, and role of the Memorial Belltower.

Result: The final labels strive to recognize the patriotism, symbolism, and memorial aspects behind Memorial Belltower. By utilizing imagery such as the American flag, the motif of torches, and the names of the fallen soldiers inscribed within the landmark, these labels are meant to subtly highlight the grandeur, legacy, and history of this iconic structure.
