Project Goal: Design a wordmark, logomark, and business card for Kat Kosar Photography, a photographer based in Chicago, Illinois.

Process: I began this process by meeting with the client over the phone to discuss what exactly she was looking for. Through that, I deduced that she desired something elegant and simple with only words in the logo, and that she wanted to utilize gold foil on a black background for the cards. From there, I selected a typeface that fit her desires and used it to build the wordmark and “KKP” logomark. I then structured the files to be supported by MOO, a printing service, to accommodate the gold foil.

Result: The final product is a simple, elegant, and striking business card that captures the essence of Kat Kosar Photography. The dark, matte black makes the embossed gold foil truly shine and brings attention to the information.
